Reflected XSS via unescaped unique parameter
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Reflected XSS in EmbedPress 4.6.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted unique parameter. Feature_Enhancer.php places the attacker-controlled unique value into generated URL attributes without the esc_url() output wrapper removed during the 4.3.0 refactor. Execution requires a user to follow the crafted link, after which the script runs in the affected site's browser origin and can read or alter page-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
